New Zealand rugby participant Connor Backyard-Bachop has died aged 25.
His previous Tremendous Rugby workforce, the Dunedin-based Highlanders, have confirmed his loss of life.
Backyard-Bachop, son of former All Black Stephen Bachop, was a part of the Highlanders’ Tremendous Rugby squad this season.

Backyard-Bachop, an outdoor again, posted on Instagram final week thanking the Highlanders after enjoying 5 seasons with the workforce. He made his Highlanders debut in 2021.
“Thanks @highlandersteam for an unforgettable 5 years,” he stated.
“Thanks to everybody within the south for making me really feel at house, and thanks to the boys I’ve been honoured to share the sector with, it’s been a pleasure, I’ll miss you all. Until subsequent time.”
Backyard-Bachop is survived by two daughters.
