Michael Clarke has been left heartbroken after the dying of his “greatest mate”.
The previous Australian cricket captain took to social media to convey his heartache after shedding his grandfather Ray Fox, who died earlier this month.

The picture uploaded to Instagram confirmed Clarke with one hand on the coffin as he walked away from the microphone after delivering a eulogy at his grandfather’s funeral on Monday.
“By no means will get any simpler,” Clarke wrote.
“In shedding my Grandfather, I misplaced a greatest mate. I really feel blessed to be surrounded by a lot love on a particularly powerful day.
“RIP Pop.”
